The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The believers have indeed attained true success: 1 who are humble in their prayers; 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 and at almsgiving are active 4 And who guard their private parts, 5 except with their wives and what their right hand possess, and then they are not blamed. 6 But those who covet more than this will be transgressors; 7 (Prosperous are those) who preserve their trusts and pledges 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 Those are the inheritors 10 Who shall inherit the Paradise; they shall abide therein. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, 13 Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 Then surely on the day of resurrection you shall be raised. 16 We have indeed fashioned above you seven paths. Never were We unaware of the task of creation. 17 And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away. 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 And created the tree that comes forth from Mount Sinai – that grows containing oil and curry for the eaters. 20 And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat. 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
