And said the chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people and belied the meeting of the Hereafter and whom We had luxuriated in the life of the world: this is no other than a human being like unto you; he eateth of that whereof ye eat, and he drinketh of that which ye drink. 33 If you obey a mortal like yourselves, you shall be lost. 34 What! does he threaten you that when you are dead and become dust and bones that you shall then be brought forth? 35 ۞ "Far, very far is that which ye are promised! 36 This is our only life. We live and will die but we will never be brought back to life again. 37 He is only a man who has invented a lie about God, and we are not going to believe him!" 38 He said: "O my Lord! Help me because they deny me." 39 (Allah) said: "In but a little while, they are sure to be sorry!" 40 So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk! 41 Then We raised up other generations after them, 42 no nation outstrips its term, nor do they put it back. 43 Then We sent our messengers one after another. Whenever its messenger came unto a nation they denied him; so We caused them to follow one another (to disaster) and We made them bywords. A far removal for folk who believe not! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our Signs and a clear authority 45 to the Pharaoh and his nobles. But they behaved proudly and thought themselves superior people. 46 They therefore said, “Shall we believe in two humans like ourselves, whereas their nation is servile to us?” 47 So they accused them of falsehood, and they became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might be guided. 49 We made the son of Mary and his mother a miracle and settled them on a high land, quite secure and watered by a spring. 50

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
