And said the chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people and belied the meeting of the Hereafter and whom We had luxuriated in the life of the world: this is no other than a human being like unto you; he eateth of that whereof ye eat, and he drinketh of that which ye drink. 33 “If you were to obey a human like yourselves, then surely you are losers!” 34 Doth he promise you that you, when ye are dead and have become dust and bones, will (again) be brought forth? 35 ۞ After, after with that which you are promised! 36 "There is nothing but our life in this world! We shall die and we live! But we shall never be raised up again! 37 He is nothing but a man who has forged against Allah a lie, we will never believe him' 38 He said: "O my Lord! Help me because they deny me." 39 He replied: 'Before long, by the morning, they shall be remorseful' 40 So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk! 41 AND AFTER them We gave rise to new generations: 42 No nation can outstrip its term, nor can it put it back. 43 Then We sent Our Messengers in succession, every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another (to destruction), and We made them as Ahadith (the true stories for mankind to learn a lesson from them). So away with a people who believe not. 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority 45 To Pharaoh and his nobles who behaved with arrogance, for they were a conceited lot, 46 They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?" 47 So they accused them of falsehood, and they became of those who were destroyed. 48 We gave the Book to Moses so that perhaps they may have guidance. 49 And We made the son of Maryam (Prophet Eisa) and his mother a sign, and We gave them shelter on a height, a place to stay and visible springs. 50
