O apostles! eat of the good things and do good; surely I know what you do. 51 And verily, this community of yours is one single community, since I am the Sustainer of you all: remain, then, conscious of Me! 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that because We have granted them abundance of wealth and sons, 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord – 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 who consider nothing equal to their Lord, 59 who give what they give, with their hearts quaking, that they will return to their Lord: 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 [But they will be told] "Cry not in supplication today; for, behold, you shall not be succoured by Us! 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night. 67 Did they never ponder over this Word (of God)? Or has he (to wit, the Messenger) brought something the like of which did not come to their forefathers of yore? 68 Or know they not their messenger, and so reject him? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
