O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But then they divided up their order into different creeds, each section rejoicing in what it had come to have. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Do they not ponder over the Word (of Allah), or has anything (new) come to them that did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are from the path deviating. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 We struck them with torment, but they did not submit themselves to their Lord, nor did they make themselves humble 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
