O you apostles, eat things that are clean, and do things that are good. We are surely cognisant of what you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We are hastening to reward them for good deeds? No. They do not comprehend. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 and believe in His messages 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 Who give whatsoever they give (in His way), and their hearts tremble with fear that they have to go back to their Lord, 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 Till, when We seize with the chastisement the ones of them that live at ease, behold, they groan. 64 [But they will be told] "Cry not in supplication today; for, behold, you shall not be succoured by Us! 65 My verses were recited to you, but you turned upon your heels, 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Do they not ponder over the Word (of Allah), or has anything (new) come to them that did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77
