1/2 Hizb 35

O you apostles, eat things that are clean, and do things that are good. We are surely cognisant of what you do. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 Then they cut their affair among them in regard to the Scriptures; each band in that which is with them rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one. 62 But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 "My Signs used to be rehearsed to you, but ye used to turn back on your heels- 66 In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. 71 Or, is it that thou askest of them any maintenance? The maintenance of thy Lord is better, and He is the Best of providers. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are ever prone to deviate from the Right Way. 74 ۞ And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77
