I told them, "Messengers, eat from the pure things and act righteously; I know all that you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But people later cut up their religion into bits, each group rejoicing in what they have. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one. 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or do they not recognize their Messenger, and so deny him? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or is it that you ask them a recompense? But the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 And lo! those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed astray from the path. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
