1/2 Hizb 35

Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 Leave them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children 55 Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 And We tax not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 Assuredly thou art calling them to a straight path; 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 when We opened on them a gate of severe punishment, they utterly despaired. 77

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
