Messengers, eat what is wholesome and do good deeds: I am well aware of what you do. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We are hastening to reward them for good deeds? No. They do not comprehend. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My verses were recited to you, but you turned upon your heels, 66 behaving arrogantly, and making fun, and talking nonsense (about the Book in your nightly chats)." 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are ever prone to deviate from the Right Way. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77
