Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 The people divided themselves into many sects, each with their own book and each happy with whatever they had. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they think that in giving them wealth and children 55 We are hastening to reward them for good deeds? No. They do not comprehend. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 Surely My signs have been rehearsed unto you, and upon your heel ye were wont to draw back. 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Or dost thou ask them for tribute? Yet the tribute of thy Lord is better, and He is the best of providers. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 We inflicted Punishment on them, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor do they submissively entreat (Him)!- 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
