O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 And surely this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 52 Then they cut their affair among them in regard to the Scriptures; each band in that which is with them rejoicing. 53 So leave thou them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 and believe in His messages 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one. 62 But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My verses were recited to you, but you turned upon your heels, 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or dost thou [O Muhammad] ask of them any worldly recompense? But [they ought to know that] recompense from thy Sustainer is best, since He is the best of providers! 72 and, most surely, you are calling them to a straight path. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77
