O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 So leave them in their intoxication till a time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 "Put a stop to your groaning now! Surely no help shall be provided to you from Us. 65 For when My revelations were read out to you, you turned back on your heels and fled 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Or do they say: "There is madness in him"? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest! 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 You are calling them to a Straight Way, 73 but, behold, those who will not believe in the life to come are bound to deviate from that way. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 We inflicted Punishment on them, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor do they submissively entreat (Him)!- 76 until We open before them a gate of [truly] severe suffering [in the life to come]: and then, lo! they will be broken in spirit. 77
