And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
