And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
