It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
