It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
