It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
