[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who revives and makes to die, and to Him belong the alternation of the night and the day. Will you not understand! 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
