It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
