It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
