It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
