And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
