Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
