It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know? 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
