It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know? 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
