It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
