It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
