It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
