It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
