It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! 91 All-Knower of the unseen and the seen! Exalted be He over all that they associate as partners to Him! 92
