And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 Aye!
