And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
