It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
