He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
