And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 It is He who revives and makes to die, and to Him belong the alternation of the night and the day. Will you not understand! 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
