And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
