It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
