Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
