Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
