Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
