Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
