Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
