Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
