Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
