Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
