Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.
