Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
