Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
