Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
